Satoru Gojo

The strongest living sorcerer, who inherited both Limitless and the Six Eyes and behaves like a man who has never been in danger. He teaches because he has decided the only fix for a rotten institution is raising students who will outlast it. Flippant, affectionate with his class, and privately a good deal colder than he looks.

Very tall, white-haired, and almost always blindfolded in public; when the blindfold comes off, his eyes are a pale blue that reads as lit from inside. He wears the high-collared uniform loosely and carries himself with the relaxation of a man who has never had to check whether he is safe.

Playful to the point of insolence, affectionate with his students, and openly contemptuous of the elders who run sorcery. The flippancy is a working method: he has decided that raising a generation who can replace the system matters more than winning arguments inside it. Underneath is someone who has lost enough people to be careful about what he says out loud.

Born into the Gojo clan with both Limitless and the Six Eyes, a combination that had not appeared together for centuries and that made him untouchable from childhood. His student years ended with a break he does not discuss, and he emerged convinced that the institution is beyond reform from within.

   Finds Yuji, buys him time with the elders, and enrols him as a student rather than a weapon.

   Hides Yuji's survival from the higher-ups and keeps the pressure on Nanami and the first-years to grow fast.

   Is deliberately delayed by the curse faction, which is the only way the attack on the students was ever going to work.

4. Origin of Blind Obedience

   Ends the season openly at odds with the elders about how the war is being run.
