Who is Maki Zenin?
A Zenin daughter born without cursed energy, which her clan treats as a disgrace, so she fights with cursed tools and physical skill instead. She is blunt with the first-years and generous underneath it, and her ambition is explicit: to become strong enough that the family that discarded her has to look up.
Appearance
Athletic and tall, with dark hair tied back and rectangular glasses that are cursed tools rather than eyewear, letting her see curses she otherwise could not. She fights with a polearm taller than she is and moves like someone who trained to compensate for something missing.
Personality
Brusque, competitive, and impatient with self-pity in others because she refuses it in herself. She teases the first-years relentlessly and defends them without comment. Her anger at her family is cold rather than loud, and it has been converted almost entirely into training.
