Who is Aoi Todo?
A Kyoto third-year who opens every relationship by asking what kind of woman you like and takes the answer extremely seriously. Beneath the bit he is a brilliant tactician whose technique swaps positions mid-fight, and his friendship with Yuji reframes the season's best battle as two people teaching each other.
Appearance
Enormously built, shaven-headed, with a scar over one eye and a Kyoto uniform stretched over shoulders that were not designed for school clothing. He fights bare-handed and enjoys it visibly.
Personality
Loud, theatrical and entirely sincere. He judges people by their taste in women, which sounds like a joke until it becomes the basis of real friendship, and he teaches with a generosity that his manner disguises. He is also the most technically thoughtful fighter in the season, constantly reading and adjusting.
Background
A Kyoto third-year with a reputation for insubordination and a record that outstrips most graduates. His devotion to the idol Takada is genuine and organising, and he treats a shared answer about taste as grounds for lifelong loyalty.
